Lake Murray

We went to Lake Murray yesterday with our cousins Brian and Sydney. It was a beautiful day, and the girls loved feeding the ducks. Allie tried out Sydney's scooter. She's still a bit small, but she had fun trying. She has a new nickname for her daddy,"Crazy Daddy Boy" it's so funny the stuff she comes up with!

Picnic in the Park

This week was a little rough for all of us. I had the flu something I think I caught from Allie who was sick last weekend with a short day of fevers, but seemed fine the next day...I however had fevers for 4 days...no fun. I wish I could get over things like she does!! Now I hope Lance will be OK. He's started to feel bad too, but Carley is healthy as ever!! Allie had a huge bump on her head something that happened at preschool. She couldn't tell us what happened, so the Ms. Julie said she thought someone ran behind her while she was on the swing, and that they collided...this bump is still not gone and it happened on Monday. Now, I know I'm over zealous with my "be careful's" but it's served us well because she has never had a bump this bad...poorthing...her head hurt just to rest it against the back of the car seat! It's going to take a lot for me to get use to all the bumps and bruises! So, after a long week, we had some light at the end of the tunnel...a trip to Pt.Loma Park with The Rosenburg's. The park has a summer concert series, and it was fantastic fun! The kiddos ran around and we got to chat with our friends and eat some fried chicken!!

Happy 4th of July

So we had a pretty mellow 4th. We went over to my moms for a BBQ and swimming. Allie is fast asleep now so Lance and I just finished watching the Lake Murray fireworks off in the distance. It's hard to keep these little ones up late enough for fireworks...there's always next year!
