Allie's BIG catch

Allie caught her first fish on Saturday! Lance helped her reel it in. He was a beautiful rainbow trout. Lance was so excited!! So was Allie, but she was in a little bit of shock. She did touch him though! We set him free after the catch.

Our Trip to Big Bear

We had a terrific weekend at Big Bear Lake with The Rosenberg family. The cabin was cozy with a lake view from the porch. As soon as we go to the cabin we had to move several items that were not child friendly...decorative items that back in the day I would have thought were just adorable. Turns out these days I see them as hazardous...

We all had such a great time. The kids were so good and got along great! Allie and Noah are very taken with eachother...in case you couldn't tell!! We did some hiking and fishing. The weather was perfect at around 85 degrees during the day and around 60 at night. I'll be posting more about the trip... a highlight!

Last week we went to Build-a -Bear with Auntie Tamara. Allie had so much fun. She insisted she wash her bear over and over again! Thanks, T, for the pix. And thanks Auntie Dar and Uncle Rick for the giftcard!!
