Gymnastics Class

Allie started gymnastics this summer. she is really enjoying it and learning a lot. she calls it her "nastic's class". she's become much more adventerous at home these days..summersaults and all!! the program is through the YMCA. the gym is amazing, and they have an excellent competitive program. Our friends Hannah and Ella are joining us too!

Carley Grabs The Lion!

after weeks of anticipation...Carley finally got her lion today! she held on to him for a good long bit too!

my last week off

this is my last week off...i'm torn about going back to work. it's easier to go back, but i will miss my time with my girls. Carley is so used to me holding her it's going to be an adjustment being with my mom. everyone is always helping with Allie, so Carley has been all my baby. we're trying to do a few fun things this last week off. The girls are so cute together. Carley totally watches Allie and smiles and laughs at her. Allie is doing so much better with her now. i think Carley interacting with her has really helped. these are a few pictures of them sitting together today.

A Sunday visit to GG's

It's another hot day today. We were up early and went to 8:30 service...who am I kidding we are ALWAYS up EARLY! On the way home from church I was looking at Allie's drawing from her "Jesus class", and she says, "you so happy mommy" It's amazing how perceptive she is...I was tickled that she noticed! Carley really needed a nap, so Lance stayed home, and Allie and I went to my grandmas house. Allie calls her GG... Allie knows which exit is hers and is always excited! She loves her cat Bella....Bella does not reciprocate the feeling! We chased Bella around and had mango ice cream...with OJ...interesting combo!! I love Sundays...

It's a Hot One!

Today we started the day off at swim lessons(which was nice becuase it was 85 degrees at 8am) Lance had a breakfast with church this morning, so Uncle Johnny came with us to do Allie's swim lesson. Today she learned how to blow bubbles...very cute. Then it was off to Ryan, Janice and Ella's for Ella's 2nd birthday party. It was a very nice party and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Allie did ask me where her friend Caleb was, and I think today she actually understood that he has moved. She had a very concerned look on her face. Sorry Julie...I forgot the camera...Janice said she would email pix and video. We missed you guys today!

By the time we left the party it was 106 degrees..it was a little after 12...Normally Allie would go down for a nap, but my cousin Brian and his daughter Sydney are in town, so we went over to my moms to swim...thank goodness!! It has been a really nice day and now we are all taking naps!!

One last Hoorah

These are pictures from our last playdate with our dear friends Julie, Caleb, and Ethan Gross. We will miss them a lot. Caleb and Allie are 3 days apart and Ethan and Carley are 4 weeks apart. We have shared many fun times with them the past few years. Jon and Julie decided to move to Montana so Jon could accept an offer to be executive pastor at Harvest Church. We will miss them, but I have a feeling we will be visiting...Lance can't pass up that hunting trip!!
